Renowned Indian Photographer Raghu Rai Passes Away at 83

Raghu Rai, a celebrated Indian photographer, passed away at a private hospital in the early hours of Sunday. The 83-year-old photographer was known for capturing the diverse aspects of India through his lens.

Rai had been battling cancer for some time. He was initially diagnosed with prostate cancer two years ago, but unfortunately, the cancer spread to his stomach, which was also cured. However, more recently, the cancer had progressed to his brain, in addition to age-related complications.

Rai is survived by his loving family, including his wife, Gurmeet, and his children, Nitin, Lagan, Avani, and Purvai. The family will bid their final farewell to Raghu Rai at the Lodhi Crematorium at 4pm on Sunday.
