In a significant development, Ajit Doval, National Security Adviser to the Indian government, held talks with UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Abu Dhabi on Saturday. The meeting marked the second high-level interaction between the two countries within a month, underscoring the strength of their bilateral relationship.
The discussion centered on advancing the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between India and the UAE, with a particular emphasis on energy security and evolving geopolitical conditions. Ajit Doval conveyed greetings from Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the meeting, which was attended by senior Emirati officials, including Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, and Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for National Security.

The Embassy reported that Doval extended Modi's wishes for the UAE's continued progress and prosperity, while the UAE President reciprocated with similar sentiments for India and its people.

The meeting also covered recent developments in the Middle East and their broader implications for regional as well as global security.
