Kriti Sanon had announced the launch of Hyphen on her 33rd birthday in 2023. The actress unveiled the brand on Instagram, expressing her joy and gratitude for the opportunity to bring Hyphen to the world. Hyphen is a budget-friendly beauty brand offering products priced between ₹449 and ₹649.

The brand's website highlights the passion and dedication that went into creating each product. Kriti Sanon's note on the website states that Hyphen originated from a pure passion for skincare and a driven mind that always wanted more in life. Each product blends remarkable ingredients from nature and science to create powerful solutions for every concern.

In a previous statement, Tarun Sharma, co-founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Hyphen, highlighted the brand's impressive performance in just two years. Hyphen generated ₹400 crore in revenue during this period and built a loyal customer base with 60% repeat consumers. The brand also grew its consumer base from 1 million to 4 million in just a year, across 19,000+ pin codes.
